Cruzeiro move to top of Brazil's Serie A

Porto Alegre (Brazil), May 26 (IANS): Defending champions Cruzeiro moved to the top of Brazil's Serie A football championship after recovering from a goal down to win 3-1 against Internacional.

Wellington opened the scoring for the hosts at the Centenario stadium before Ricardo Goulart equalized on the stroke of half-time, Sunday, reports Xinhua.

Bolivia international striker Marcelo Moreno then gave his side the lead and former Corinthians winger William made it 3-1 two minutes from time.

Moreno, who is on loan from Cruzeiro's Serie A rivals Gremio, is now the league's top scorer with five goals from as many matches.
