Two killed in lightning strike in Kerala


Thiruvananthapuram, April 14 (IANS): At least two people were killed and three others injured when lightning struck them in Kerala, police said Monday.

Harilal, 25, was giving tuitions outside his home in the state capital when lightning struck and killed him.

While two of his students are out of danger, the condition of one is reported to be critical. He was admitted to a hospital here.

In the second incident, Abhinav, 12, was struck by lightning while standing in front of his house in Kozhikode city. He died on the spot.
