Kejriwal pays tribute to Ambedkar


New Delhi, April 14 (IANS): AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal and members of the Delhi Assembly Monday paid tributes to B.R. Ambedkar on his 123rd birth anniversary.

Kejriwal and former Delhi Assembly speaker M.S. Dhir paid floral tributes at Ambedkar's statue at the assembly complex in the Old Secretariat here.

Other members of the assembly besides former chief secretary S.K. Srivastava also paid floral tribute.

Artists from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya recited songs on the occasion.

Ambedkar was born in Madhya Pradesh's Mhow town in 1891. He was Independent India's first law minister.
