Also the FIFA vice-president, Platini made his disclosure in the wake of UEFA signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CONCACAF. CONCACAF said he new agreement would provide them technical assistance and support.

"It is a partnership with CONCACAF. We have to find out what are the needs. I am on this visit because I want to see," said Platini.

Platini’s fact-finding visit has taken him to Antigua following visits to Barbados and Grenada. The 58-year-old former French captain and international midfielder met Barbados Prime Minister Freundel Stuart and Grenada Prime Minister Keith Mitchell as well as football administrators in both countries.
