Bad light stops play in Auckland Test


Auckland, Feb 7 (IANS): Bad light stopped play with India at 125 for four in the first innings against New Zealand on the second day of the first cricket Test at the Eden Park here Friday.

Rohit Sharma was batting on 67 and Ajinkya Rahane on 19 when the umpires offered them light in the final session of the day. India trail New Zealand by 378 runs.

Earlier, riding on a record 224 by skipper Brendon McCullum, New Zealand made 503 all out in the first innings.
