India trail New Zealand by 458 runs


Auckland, Feb 7 (IANS): India made 45 for three in the first innings and trail New Zealand by 458 runs at tea on the second day of the first cricket Test at the Eden Park here Friday.

Murali Vijay was batting on 22 and Rohit Sharma on 16 when tea was taken.

Earlier, New Zealand riding on a massive 224 from skipper Brendon McCullum made 503 in the first innings.
