India reach 271/5 at tea


Durban, Dec 27 (IANS): India were 271 for five at tea on day two of their second and final cricket Test against South Africa at Kingsmead here Friday.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni had just come to the crease after the dismissal of Virat Kohli (46). Ajinkya Rahane (23) was at the other end.

Murali Vijay was unfortunate to get out on 97.

Dale Styen struck thrice and Morne Morkel took a couple of wickets.

Rain in the morning meant play could only start after lunch with India at overnight 181 for one.
