  Mumbai, May 1: Rahul Vas (22) who was working as maintenance repairer for Weather Cool Sales (Carrier) Air conditioning firm at Andheri East here, for the past two and a half years, died owing to electrocution, on Saturday April 29.  Rahul hailed from Tallur-Uppinakudru in Kundapur.
 
The incident occurred when Rahul was repairing the air condition at a jewellery shop situated opposite Seepz at Andheri East.

 Rahul who has lost his parents and was the only son, was a member of the Kundapur Catholic Association and was residing guest house of the association, situated on Chakala-Parsiwada road at Andheri Sahar here.

Rahul’s body was immediately rushed to the nearby Holy Spirit hospital, by the owner of Weather Cool Sales and the staff of the jewellery shop. The MIDC police then took the body to Cooper hospital for post mortem.

On hearing the news, association secretary Peter Bothello and Archie Fernandes made immediate arrangements to take Rahul’s body to his home town on the same night.

In the meantime, owing to request by the association, Rahul’s body was brought to the association’s guest house for final respects, wherein Aloysius D’Souza conducted prayers and condolence meet.
