Brazil defeat Chile in friendly


Toronto, Nov 20 (IANS): Brazil defeated South American rivals Chile 2-1 in an international football friendly here.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup hosts took the lead in the 14th minute when Hulk produced a left-footed shot on an Oscar cross Tuesday. Eduardo Vargas equalised for Chile in the 71st minute, taking a short pass from Jean Beausejour and launching a long shot that tucked just inside the left corner, reports Xinhua.

AC Milan's Robinho sealed the win for Brazil when he nodded past Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo in the 79th minute from a Maicon cross after good work from Neymar.
