Australia wins toss; to bat first

Pune, Oct 13 (IANS): Australia won the toss and elected to bat in the first of their seven One-Day Internationals (ODI) against India at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium here Sunday.

The squads:
India: Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Captain), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, R. Vinay Kumar, Ishant Sharma.

Australia: Aaron Finch, Phillip Hughes, Shane Watson, George Bailey (Captain), Adam Voges, Glenn Maxwell, Brad Haddin, James Faulkner, Mitchell Johnson, Clint McKay, Xavier Doherty.
