Man United eye Brazilian prodigy

Rio de Janeiro, Sep 11 (IANS): English football club Manchester United are preparing a bid to sign Brazilian prodigy Kenedy.

The 17-year-old striker has had a impressive season with Brazilian top-flight club Fluminense and the national under-17 team, reports Xinhua.

He is also understood to be on the radar of Spanish giants Real Madrid and French outfit Monaco.

Any move for Kenedy would have to wait until February next year due to rules prohibiting the transfer of players under the age of 18.

Kenedy top-scored for Brazil with six goals at the U-17 South American championships in April.
