Mangalore, Feb 8: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy has invited applications for its annual honorary and best book award which will be presented at a function to be held on April 16 at Udupi.

In a press released the academy said that in keeping with the rules of the government to have same set of rules and regulations for all academies, the number of prizes in both categories (honorary as well as book) have been reduced to 3 from 5.

2 Konkani Poetry collections
3 Konkani story collections
