Mangalore, Feb 7: Corporation Bank, which awaits clearance from the UAE authorities to open a representative office at Dubai will set up its office shortly, said chairman and managing director of the bank V K Chopra

Speaking at the VI conference organised by Corporation Bank Retired Officers' Association, Chopra said that the bank has ambitious expansion plans of its services to countries like Hong Kong, China and USA in the next five years by setting up a representative office in these places.

Once the clearance is obtained from the authorities concerned, the bank is ready to provide services outside the country, he added.

Speaking on the growth of the bank, Chopra said that the all India status enjoyed by the bank has won the respected and admired by the customers.
Bank of Baroda Retired Officers' Association general secretary and also general secretary of Retired Bank Officers' national confederation V T Makhwana delivered keynote address on the past, present and the future of bank retirees in India.

Bank general manager K L Gopalakrishna, association general secretary P P Kamath, D N Prakash and others were present.
