Mangalore, Jan 31: A seminar on ‘social evils and mass media’ has been organized at the Town Hall here on Friday February 3.
On the occasion, note journalist and writer Hamza Malar will receive the ‘Muslim Literary award – 2004’ from Prof K M Kaveriappa, vice-chancellor, Mangalore University.
Jama't-e-Hind Karnataka-Goa state president Ibrahim Saeed will preside over the seminar. Mangalore University's Mass Communication and Journalism department reader Dr D S Poornananda and columnist B Bhaskar will participate in the seminar, stated a press release.
