Ahinda to hold a convention in City

Mangalore: Ahinda will organise a massive convention in March at Mangalore wherein ABPJD president Siddharamaiah will address the conference, said Ahinda state president K Mukudappa.

Speaking to reporters after participating in the Ahinda workers meeting in City on Sunday, he said that about 90 per cent of population in the coastal belt come under Ahinda ideology including poor and backward classes and hence despite the influence of all other parties Ahinda achieves at least 80-85 per cent success.

Achieving empowerment and equality through urging for caste reservation is the fundamental objective of Ahinda and hence it supports internal reservation too, he stated.

"There is a vast difference between the ideology of communists and Ahinda. Economic equality that has been propagated by communists can be achieved only after accomplishing caste equality. Ahinda strives both for economic and class equality," he clarified.

Answering to a question he said, "to some extent there is a need to support the caste system at the present scenario as every step of achieving equality should be taken on the roots of caste system itself. We can't root out the caste system, but we can achieve equality among the so called upper and lower castes. Ahinda aims at this point,"
