Mangalore, Jan 27: Dharmendra Shetty of city based "Shetty Traders" and 6 others who were arrested by Anti Rowdy Squad for their alleged nexus with Middle East-based underworld don have now been granted bail by the District Session Court.

While Dharmendra Shetty has been accused of supplying persons and vehicles for the illegal activities of the said don, six others have been accused of various murder attempts on many businessmen of the city.  Among the 6 arrested four are college students.  While one is a native of the district, the rest of the 3 accused students are of Kerala origin.  The linchpin of the entire network, David alias Boxer alias Shaji was killed in an encounter by the Anti Rowdy Squad personnel last week.

Now the Sessions Court has granted bail all the seven persons arrested in this case.
