Mangalore, Jan 26: Following an amicable understanding with a section of advocates who were not in favour of the district court complex being shifted from the present location near St Aloysius College here, the process of shifting articles from some of the courts to a temporary location in Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) building, commenced on Wednesday January 25.

According to a press release, G V Hegde, district principal and sessions court judge, will formally inaugurate the complex in its new location on Friday January 27.

According to a press release from Mangalore Bar Council (MBC) president K Shambu Sharma, the Mangalore Chief Civil Court (Senior division), Chief Judicial Magistrate, First Additional Civil Judge Court (Senior division), First Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Second Additional Civil Judge Court (Senior division) and Second Chief Judicial Magistrate, Fourth Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) and Labour Court, will function in MCC building from Friday January 27 onwards.
