Bahrain, Jan 23: The Karnataka Social Club accorded a fond farewell to Clarence Saldanha who is leaving Bahrain for good, making Australia his future place of stay.

Clarence Saldhana is a veteran, accomplishedwith talents and immense potential. His exemplary honesty and sincerity, besides a high sense of accompanied and dedication, has transformed dreams and visions into action. He has proved his mastery in the arena of public speaking as a renowned Toastmaster.
 
The warmth he was shown at the farewell function at the Karnataka Social Club is ample proof of his significant contribution. He has served as sports secretary of Karnataka Social Club in 1985-86, as vice President in 1995-96 and as President in 1998-99, 2001-2002 and 2002-2003.

He has also served as general secretary &andice chairman of CCIA (Coordination Committee Of Indian Associations) and as area governor in Toastmasters, exhibiting his high-profile leadership.
 
In recognition of his valuable contribution, the club honoured him with a memento. Karnataka Social Club president John Mascarenhas  along with general secretary Charles Rodrigues and assistant general secretary Abdul Rasheed  presented  the memento.
