Chinese shooters win two golds at Kazan Universiade


Kazan, Jul 15 (IANS): Chinese student shooters won two gold medals at the Kazan Universiade 2013 here.

Liu Zhiguo, Cao Yifei and Liu Lilong joined to claim the title at the men's 10m air rifle team event and Liu Zhiguo also won the individual title in the event after a solid performance Sunday, reports Xinhua.

Huang Sixue contributed a silver in women's skeet individual event and it was a Thai athlete who won the gold medal. The women's skeet team title was won by the Russian shooters.

The 27th Universiade is to conclude July 17. Host Russia now leads the medals table on 102 gold, 55 silver and 48 bronze medals.
