NBA: Hawks hold onto Jeff Teague

Washington, Jul 15 (IANS): Atlanta Hawks matched the four-year $32 million offer from Milwaukee Bucks to keep starting NBA point guard Jeff Teague for the next season.

Teague became a restricted free agent this summer, and Bucks, who were eager for backcourt talent after they lost Monta Ellis, decided to offer Teague the contract, reports Xinhua.

Teague averaged 14.6 points and a career-high 7.2 assists last season.
