Los Angeles, Mar 8 (IANS): Actress Jessica Chastain is being lined up to play Jane in David Yates' remake of "Tarzan".
The 35-year-old, nominated for Academy Awards last month for her role in "Zero Dark Thirty", is said to be in race to play the role in reboot of classic adventure story, reports contactmusic.com.
Apart from Chastain, Yates is said to have his eye on Alexander Skarsgard for the main role, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Others linked to the part include "Man Of Steel" fame Henry Cavill and Charlie Hunnam, star of "Pacific Rim".
Going by the reports, the film's plot will see Tarzan settled in England and is asked to investigate shady dealing and a vicious warlord in the Congo.
