Australia first innings at 237/9


Hyderabad, Mar 2 (IANS): Australia surprisingly declared their first innings at 237 for nine against India with just 20 minutes left for stumps on the first day of the second Test at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, here Saturday.

Michael Clarke top scored with 91 while Matthew Wade made 62.

Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3/53) and left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja (3/33) were the most effective bowlers for India.
