Cooper Unveils Handprints at Wembley Arena


London, Oct 25 (IANS): Singer Alice Cooper has unveiled his handprints at the Wembley Arena here.

The 64-year-old attended the ceremony Oct 23 and posed alongside the bronze plaque that featured his handprints. He performed there for the first time in 1972.

"Wembley is one of those venues that gives you goosebumps when you walk in the door. It's high on the list of gigs that every band dreams of playing," the contactmusic.com quoted him as saying.

"We've been there so many times, it always feels like a homecoming and an honor to this day," he added.

Other stars whose handprints are present there are singers Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Cliff Richards and band Westlife.
