Didn't Expect the Match to stretch to the Last Ball: Bravo

Kolkata, May 15 (IANS):Terming the match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders as one of the best matches of IPL 5, Chennai player Dwayne Bravo, who struck a last ball six to win the game, Monday said he did not expect the match to stretch to the last ball after having a brilliant start.

"This is one of the best matches of IPL 5. If you need to score six runs off the last ball, there is only one option and that's the boundary option," said Bravo at the post match press conference.

Bravo said he did not expect the match to stretch to the last ball. Michael Hussey and Murali Vijay had provided an explosive start to the Chennai Super Kings by putting on 97 in only 9.2 overs.

"No, I didn't expect the game to stretch to the last ball, after the explosive start we had. But we lost two back-to-back crucial wickets, and after that the pressure mounted. But it is in these high pressure games that we need to perform because we need to rise above pressure and perform."

Bravo struck a last ball six as Super Kings scraped past the Kolkata Knight Riders by five wickets in a nail-biting Indian Premier League contest at the Eden Gardens.
