Mumbai: Simantur Chandrahas Suvarna’s ‘Koral’, Book of Poems Released

Mumbai, Apr 7: ‘Koral’, collection of poems by Simantur Chandrahas Suvarna was released at Samarasa auditorium of Karnataka Sangha, Matunga West, here on Friday.

Poet Kodu Bhoja Shetty, said that ‘Koral’ is a collection poems consisting rare tulu words. He said that that the poems presented are really beautiful. He also added that it is a good collection for the future and has no doubt in bringing national recognition to Tulu language.

M B Kukyan, Editor, Akshaya, Billavara Association presided. He inaugurated the programme by lighting a lamp. He said that this poetry collection has strengthened Tulu culture.  “As times change cultural aspects also change and we have to accept this and move ahead”, he expressed.

Jounalist Dayasagar Chauti said that the poetry has capability of giving ample information to any Univerisity.

The guests Chandrahas Suvarna, Saraswathi Chandrahas Simantur and Pooja Chandrahas Simantur were honoured.

Programme began with a prayer by Ganesh Yermal. Shimantur Chandrahas Suvarna welcomed the gathering. Naveen Karkera compeered the programme. Harish K Hejamdi gave vote of thanks.
