Bengaluru, Nov 7: Actress Tapaswini Poonaacha, who caught the attention of Kannada cinema audiences with her performance in 'Premada Oorali', is gearing up for her next big-screen outing with 'MR Jack', starring 'First Rank Raju' fame Gurunandan. The film, which has already generated interest through its songs, is scheduled for a statewide theatrical release on December 4.
Tapaswini, who has been receiving appreciation for her role in 'Premada Oorali', is now set to entertain audiences in a different character in 'MR Jack'. Sharing screen space with Gurunandan is another highlight of the upcoming film.
The makers recently released the film's second song, 'Arambha Vasantha Arambha', which captures the excitement and celebrations surrounding a wedding. The song has been penned by Pramod Maravanthe, composed by Kiran Ravindranath and sung by Jaskaran Singh. It has been released through Anand Audio.

The release date of 'MR Jack' has been officially announced, with the film scheduled to arrive in theatres across Karnataka on December 4.
Speaking about the latest song, actor Gurunandan said the film's first song had received a positive response from audiences. Encouraged by the appreciation, the team had now released the second track, which portrays the festive atmosphere of a wedding.
The song was filmed over three days at Maidadi Gudda near Kalasa, close to Mudigere. Despite challenging weather conditions, the entire team worked hard to complete the shooting. The filmmakers are planning to release the trailer and additional songs in the coming days to build anticipation ahead of the theatrical release.
An interesting detail about Tapaswini's character has also emerged. The actress will be seen playing Nandini, a schoolteacher who comes from a family that gives considerable importance to traditions and customs. Tapaswini said she was excited about portraying the character, which offers her an opportunity to explore a different role.
The film's teaser and first title track have already received encouraging responses from audiences and the media. Following the recognition she earned through 'Premada Oorali', expectations are high about her performance in 'MR Jack'.
Meanwhile, the success of 'Premada Oorali', which is progressing towards its 50th day in theatres, has sparked discussions about a possible sequel. However, director Manoj Kumar has a different perspective on continuing the story. He believes that every film has its own narrative and a natural conclusion, and that preserving the beauty of the original story is more important than extending it for commercial reasons.
According to the director, taking a story forward merely because the original film has performed well at the box office would not be the right approach. He is therefore inclined to let the story of 'Premada Oorali' end where it does rather than develop a sequel.
With the success of 'Premada Oorali' bringing her recognition and new opportunities, Tapaswini is now looking forward to another promising outing with 'MR Jack'. Her pairing with Gurunandan, her role as Nandini and the positive response to the songs have added to the curiosity surrounding the film. Whether the new on-screen combination wins over Kannada cinema audiences will be known when 'MR Jack' arrives in theatres on December 4.
