Mangaluru, Sep 30: Mulki police have arrested a man who had been evading court appearance for 12 years despite several arrest warrants and a proclamation being issued against him.
The arrested accused has been identified as Santhosh (33), a resident near Hanuman Temple in K S Rao Nagar, near Mulki.
The accused was arrested at Lingappayya Kadu and produced before the court, which remanded him to judicial custody.
Police said the accused had been absconding without appearing before the court in connection with a case registered at Mulki police station and proceedings before the Moodbidri senior civil judge and JMFC court.
