Mangaluru, Sep 6: Traditional 'Mosaru Gudi' celebrations were held at two locations in Shaktinagar here, with devotees and local residents actively participating in the festivities.
At the Sri Gopalakrishna Temple in Shaktinagar, the programme began with a pooja and other traditional rituals. This was followed by the 'Mosaru Gudi' celebration. Members of the Sri Nagabana Raktheshwari Bhajana Mandali from Sanjayanagar, including children, participated and rendered bhajans.


















Another 'Mosaru Gudi' celebration was organised by the Sri Krishna Janmashtami Samiti in Shaktinagar. The procession began near the Sri Krishna Mandira and proceeded towards the Muttappa Gudi, where it concluded. A large number of devotees and residents took part in the procession and traditional celebrations.
The Sri Krishna Janmashtami Samiti has been organising the event in Shaktinagar for the past 46 years, continuing the rich tradition and bringing the local community together every year.
The celebrations concluded on a joyful note, with the active participation of devotees adding to the festive atmosphere. The event reflected the community’s devotion and its continued efforts to preserve and pass on cultural traditions to the younger generation.
