Double dhamaka for Mangaluru; Ashmith wins Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs, Achinthya first runner-up

Bengaluru, Aug 24: Mangaluru has scored a musical double in the grand finale of Zee Kannada’s popular reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs’, with two young talents from the coastal city clinching the winner and first runner-up titles.

Mangaluru’s Ashmith emerged as the champion of this season, walking away with the winner’s trophy and a whopping Rs 20 lac cash prize. Ashmith was trained under the guidance of singer Indu Nagaraj.

Ashmith, who impressed throughout the competition with his singing, also showcased remarkable talent on the violin. He overcame stiff competition in the high-voltage finale to emerge as the season’s winner.

Adding to Mangaluru’s celebrations, another talented youngster from the city, Achinthya Rai, secured the first runner-up position after giving Ashmith a tough fight.

In the thrilling final showdown, Achinthya delivered an impressive performance and was rewarded with a trophy and a Rs 15 lac cash prize. Mahanya Patil of Hubballi won the second runner-up trophy.

With Ashmith taking the championship and Achinthya finishing first runner-up, Mangaluru effectively enjoyed a ‘double dhamaka’ at this year’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs finale.

The grand musical battle was conducted in two stages, with a total of six young talents qualifying for the final round. All six contestants who made it to the finale had carved out a place for themselves through their distinctive abilities and performances during the competition.

The six young finalists faced off in an exciting and closely fought finale, showcasing their individual strengths and musical talents. Ashmith ultimately prevailed to lift the coveted trophy, while Achinthya Rai finished as the first runner-up.

It may be recalled that Ashmith was also the finalist of Daijiworld Junior Celebrity the show exclusively made for kids in 2022

The result marked a memorable moment for Mangaluru, with two young performers from the city occupying the top two spots in the popular televised singing competition.
