Mangaluru: ‘Milagres Book Quest 2026’ to be held from Aug 22

Mangaluru, Aug 20: Milagres College, in collaboration with ‘Used Books R’, is organizing a book exhibition and sale fair titled 'Milagres Book Quest 2026' in the College Library from August 22 to 30.

The exhibition, which is open to all with free entry, will feature more than 5,000 books for display and sale, offering an excellent opportunity for students, teachers, book lovers, collectors and the public to explore and purchase books at highly affordable prices. Students from various schools and colleges in Mangalore city, along with book lovers, are invited to participate and make the most of this special opportunity.

Used Books R, an organization founded by Tarun Tejas Gangham and Thakshiny Ashok Kumar from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, has earned nationwide recognition for its innovative approach to book sales.

A special feature of the exhibition is its unique Box n Go system, under which visitors can purchase as many books as can fit into a selected box for a fixed price. The Red N Go Reader Box is priced at Rs 1,399 and measures 11 × 8 × 5 inches, The Silver N Go Silver Box, priced at Rs 2,099, measures 15 × 10 × 6 inches and The Gold N Go Golden Box, priced at Rs 2,999, measures 19 × 12 × 6 inches.

The event will be open from 9:00 am to 8 pm onwards during the exhibition period. The Box n Go concept, based on the theme 'One Price as Many Books as Fit', is intended to make buying books convenient, affordable and enjoyable for readers of all ages. Through this collaboration, Milagres College and Used Books R aim to promote reading culture and make a large collection of books accessible to the Mangaluru community at reasonable prices. Students from schools and colleges, teachers, parents, book lovers and the public are warmly invited to visit the Milagres Book Quest 2026, explore the collection and take home as many books as they can fit in their chosen box.
