Over 51,000 beneficiaries removed from pension schemes, says DyCM G Parameshwara

Bengaluru, Aug 18: Deputy chief minister G Parameshwara, who also holds the revenue portfolio, has stated that 51,720 beneficiaries have been removed from the list of various social security pension schemes in the state.

Responding to a starred question raised by KGF Congress MLA Roopakala M, daughter of social welfare minister K H Muniyappa, Parameshwara explained the eligibility criteria for these benefits.

 

He noted that the annual income cap for availing social security pensions is set at Rs 12,000 for rural areas and Rs 17,000 for urban areas.

    There is lot of misuse people who owns bi big cars get all the govt benefits they take rice meant for poor people in big big cars especially seen in the case of so called minority people.

    Very good plan feel like going home if so much pension is available.Are there any ministers in this schemes who are flown out?True many people are no more may be somebody else receive their Pension ?Good job .I am sure there are many people who died and someone else receive their Pension?
