Kundapur: MITK hosts workshop on artificial intelligence for MBA, MCA students

Kundapur, Jul 11: The MBA and MCA departments of Moodlakatte Institute of Technology Kundapura organised a workshop on ‘Artificial intelligence: Bridging management and computer applications’ on July 10 to enhance students' understanding of emerging AI technologies and their applications.

Dr Vinod Kumar, professor and dean of research at MIT Kundapura, was the resource person for the workshop. Addressing the participants, he highlighted the growing importance of artificial intelligence, its applications in management and computer science, career opportunities in the AI sector, and the future of AI-driven technologies.

Through practical examples, Dr Vinod Kumar explained how artificial intelligence is transforming various industries and engaged students in an interactive discussion on the opportunities and challenges associated with the technology.

The programme was presided over by the principal of the institution, Dr Ramakrishna Hegde. Dr Suchitra Poojary, head of the MBA department, and Dr Nandini, head of the MCA department, were present on the dais.

Students from the MBA and MCA departments participated enthusiastically in the workshop. MBA student Rakshitha proposed the vote of thanks and compered the programme.
