Mangaluru, Jun 10: Students of St Aloysius Gonzaga School, Mangaluru, brought laurels to their institution with outstanding performances at the Kids Athletics Meet held in Udupi on June 7.
Swara Shetty Parakandi, a class 8 student, won a gold medal in the 4x100m relay, a silver medal in the 200m race, and a bronze medal in the 4x100m mixed relay event.
Vihan Vishal Kumar, a student of class 7B, secured gold medals in the mixed relay and 4x100m relay events, besides winning a silver medal in the 80m race.
Congratulating the students on their achievements, Fr Rohan D'Almeida SJ, principal of the institution, along with the staff members, lauded their sporting excellence and wished them continued success.
