Udupi, Jun 10: Trinity Central School successfully organized two enriching teacher orientation programmes on May 20 and 22 featuring distinguished education experts Abak Chatterjee and Shalini Mishra.
The first session, held on May 20 was conducted by Abak Chatterjee, a renowned educationist and CBSE academic expert recognized for her significant contributions to classroom transformation, teacher development, and innovative pedagogy. The programme focused on effective classroom management, highlighting the distinction between management and discipline, positive behavioural strategies, student partnership in learning, conducive classroom environments, and impactful leadership practices.










Teachers gained valuable insights into contemporary educational approaches, including technology-integrated learning, innovative pedagogical techniques, active student engagement, and experiential, student-centred methodologies tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners. The second orientation programme, conducted on May 22 featured Shalini Mishra, an accomplished counsellor, educator, public speaker, transformational education expert, and master trainer. Her enlightening session offered a remarkable exploration of contemporary pedagogical approaches essential for educating learners in the AI-driven era.
With exceptional clarity and expertise, Shalini Mishra emphasized the importance of transforming classrooms into dynamic, student-centred learning spaces aligned with the demands of the future. The session highlighted innovative pedagogical practices rooted in experiential learning, competency-based education, inquiry-driven instruction, emotional intelligence, and technology integration.
Particular emphasis was placed on understanding gen alpha learners, creating emotionally safe classrooms, and nurturing creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking among students.
