Mangaluru, Jun 9: Yuvraj D Kundar, a class 9-B student of St Aloysius Gonzaga School, Mangaluru, brought laurels to his institution by winning four gold medals and the Individual Championship title at a sports meet held in Udupi district.

The achievement came during the Monsoon Cross Country and Kids Athletics Meet organised by Challengers Athletics Club on June 7 at the Mahatma Gandhi District Stadium.

Yuvraj secured first place in the 80-metre race, 200-metre race, 4x100-metre relay and 4x100-metre mixed relay events, winning a total of four gold medals.

In recognition of his outstanding overall performance in the meet, he was also awarded the Individual Championship Trophy.

Congratulating Yuvraj on his remarkable achievement, the principal of the institution, Fr Rohan D'Almeida SJ, on behalf of the entire staff, lauded his accomplishment and wished him continued success in the years ahead.
