Mangaluru, Jun 7: The House introduction programme for the academic year 2026–27 was held with great enthusiasm and creativity at St Theresa School, Bendur, on June 6. Students of red house, blue house, yellow house and green house enthusiastically showcased their house spirit and talents through a variety of vibrant performances.

Each house introduced itself in a unique and engaging manner through dance, drama, music and songs. The presentations highlighted the values, goals and strengths of the respective houses while captivating the audience with creativity, teamwork and confidence.

A special highlight of the programme was the presentation of innovative and environment-friendly proposals by the houses. The students suggested practical initiatives that could be implemented on the school campus to promote sustainability and environmental consciousness. These thoughtful ideas were appreciated by all present.

The presentations were judged by Gladys Lasrado and Joanna, who evaluated the houses on creativity, presentation, teamwork and overall impact.

Addressing the gathering, principal Sr Lourdes appreciated the commendable efforts, creativity and dedication displayed by all the participants. She called upon every house to move beyond ideas and take concrete steps towards protecting the environment through practical actions and sustainable practices within the school and in their daily lives.

She also reminded the newly elected cabinet members of their responsibilities and encouraged them to be committed leaders and positive role models for their fellow students. The students were further urged to take care of school property, maintain discipline and foster a deep sense of love, respect and belonging towards their school.

The House introduction programme proved to be both informative and entertaining, providing an excellent platform for students to express their talents, strengthen house spirit and promote the values of leadership, responsibility and environmental stewardship.
