Beirut, May 27: At least 31 people were killed in Israeli attacks across southern Lebanon as Israel intensified its military operations against Hezbollah amid rising cross-border hostilities.
According to reports, Israeli forces carried out a series of strikes targeting multiple locations in southern Lebanon, escalating tensions along the border region.

The intensified attacks came after Hezbollah launched several drone strikes targeting Israeli military positions in northern Israel, resulting in casualties among Israeli forces.
Israel said the operations were aimed at weakening Hezbollah’s military infrastructure and preventing further attacks on its territory.
The ongoing escalation has raised fears of a wider regional conflict as exchanges of fire between Israeli forces and Hezbollah continue to intensify.
Local authorities and emergency teams in Lebanon have been carrying out rescue operations in affected areas, while several civilians were reportedly among those killed and injured in the strikes.
The latest violence adds to growing instability in the region amid continuing tensions linked to the conflict in Gaza and increasing military activity along Israel’s northern border.
