Tehran, May 26: Iran has reiterated its “resolute support” for Hezbollah as tensions continue to rise across the Middle East amid ongoing hostilities involving Israel and the broader regional conflict dynamics.
According to international reports, Iranian leadership and foreign policy officials have reaffirmed backing for Hezbollah, describing the group as a key part of what Tehran calls the “resistance front” against Israeli actions in the region.
The statement comes at a time when Israel has intensified military operations in southern Lebanon, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordering an escalation of strikes aimed at weakening Hezbollah positions.

Iran’s position is seen as a continuation of its long-standing policy of supporting allied armed groups in Lebanon and other parts of the region, even as diplomatic efforts involving the United States and Iran continue over broader regional stability and ceasefire discussions.
The renewed expression of support also comes amid reports of ongoing indirect negotiations and international pressure linked to de-escalation efforts in Lebanon, where cross-border exchanges between Israeli forces and Hezbollah have continued despite previous ceasefire arrangements.
Analysts say Tehran’s latest remarks underline its strategic alignment with Hezbollah at a time when the group remains heavily engaged in confrontation with Israel along the Lebanon border.
