Kundapur: Stolen gold chains, purse of Kollur temple devotee recovered within 2 hrs

Kundapur, May 8: The Kollur police successfully recovered two gold chains and a purse containing cash that were stolen from a devotee from Kerala at the renowned Sri Mookambika Temple. Impressively, the valuables were traced and handed back to the rightful owner within just two hours of the incident.

The theft occurred on Wednesday at the temple premises. Upon realizing the valuables were missing, the authorities were alerted. Utilizing the CCTV footage from the temple, the police swiftly tracked down the stolen items in a span of just two hours.

Following the successful recovery, the valuables were safely handed over to the relieved devotee. The quick and effective operation was carried out by the police personnel under the leadership of Kollur PSI Bhimashankar.
