London, May 3: Arsenal F.C. delivered a dominant performance at home to defeat Fulham F.C. 3-0, moving six points clear of Manchester City in the Premier League title race.
The victory at the Emirates Stadium was inspired by Bukayo Saka and Viktor Gyökeres, who combined brilliantly in a commanding first-half display that effectively decided the match before the break.
Saka, returning to the starting lineup after a spell on the sidelines since March, set up Gyökeres for the opening goal inside nine minutes. The forward finished from close range after a low delivery into the box.

The roles were reversed for Arsenal’s second goal in the 40th minute, when Gyökeres’ hold-up play allowed Saka to drive a powerful near-post finish past Bernd Leno.
Just before half-time, Gyökeres added a third, heading home unmarked from a looping cross to put Arsenal firmly in control.
Arsenal continued to dominate after the break, with Riccardo Calafiori striking the crossbar as the hosts pushed for more goals. Fulham’s only real opportunity came late in the match when Timothy Castagne forced a save from David Raya.
Gyökeres also came close to completing a hat-trick, but Leno made several key saves to keep the scoreline from widening further.
The result puts Arsenal in a strong position at the top of the table, while Manchester City now face added pressure as they prepare for a crucial run of fixtures, including a difficult away trip to Everton.
Fulham remain 10th, just three points outside the top six, while elsewhere Brentford’s 3-0 win over West Ham has intensified the relegation battle, and Tottenham could climb out of the bottom zone with a win against Aston Villa.
