Gaza, Apr 29: A video reportedly filmed by an Israeli soldier has revealed extensive destruction in Beit Hanoon, located in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The footage shows large areas of the town flattened, with buildings reduced to rubble. Prior to the ongoing conflict, Beit Hanoon was home to an estimated 50,000 residents.
According to reports, despite a ceasefire being in place, Israeli forces have continued operations in the area, including the demolition of structures that remained standing after earlier phases of the conflict. Hundreds of homes are believed to have been affected.
The situation in northern Gaza remains tense, with widespread damage to infrastructure and residential areas raising concerns over humanitarian conditions and the prospects for displaced residents to return.
