Los Angeles, Apr 27: Legendary musician Bruce Springsteen has strongly condemned the recent shooting incident at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, urging Americans to reject political violence while expressing relief that no one was harmed.

Speaking during a concert in Austin, Texas, as part of his “Land of Hope and Dreams” tour, Springsteen began by offering prayers for safety and peace. He said he was thankful that Donald Trump, members of his administration, and attendees at the event escaped the incident unharmed after an armed individual allegedly opened fire outside the venue.

Springsteen emphasized that while political disagreements are natural in a democracy, violence should never be part of public discourse. He told the audience that people can oppose and criticize those in power while still maintaining peaceful and respectful engagement.

The comments come amid a long-running public feud between the singer and Trump. The two have frequently exchanged sharp remarks over the years, reflecting deep political differences.
