New York, Apr 21: Global K-pop sensation BTS continues to dominate the US music charts as its latest album Arirang holds the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 for a third consecutive week.
The album, which debuted earlier this month, has maintained strong momentum despite a gradual decline in weekly consumption. After opening with 641,000 equivalent units, Arirang recorded 187,000 units in its second week and 124,000 units in the latest tracking period—still enough to stay ahead of competitors, including Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem, which remains in second place.

This marks a significant milestone for BTS, as Arirang becomes the group’s first album to spend three consecutive weeks at No. 1. It is also the first time in over a decade that an album by a group has achieved such a feat, matching a record last set by Mumford & Sons with their 2012 album Babel.
Beyond the Billboard 200, Arirang continues to perform strongly across multiple charts. It remains at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart and has climbed back to the top spot on the Vinyl Albums chart. However, on the Top Streaming Albums chart, the album currently stands at No. 4.
The album also ties BTS’s previous record set by Be, which spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart. If Arirang manages another week at the summit, it will become the group’s longest-running chart-topper in the United States.
Despite most individual tracks slipping on various song charts, strong fan support has ensured the album’s continued commercial success, reinforcing BTS’s global influence and staying power in the music industry.
