Mangaluru, Apr 14: The popular ‘Kudla Palakai Parba’ (Mangalore Jackfruit Festival) will be held on June 12, 13, and 14 at the St Sebastian Platinum Jubilee Auditorium, Bendoorwell, Mangaluru, near St Agnes College.
The event poster was officially released by the deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district, Darshan H V, IAS, at a function held in Mangaluru.
The convener of the festival, Ashwin Sequeira, was present on the occasion. He was accompanied by Rohan Pereira, founder of RO International, along with Kevin Mendonca, Jakson, Sheldon Crasta, and Reon Monis, who are part of the organizing team.
Following the grand success of last year’s edition, the organizers stated that this year’s festival has been systematically planned to be bigger and more impactful.
Kudla Palakai Parba aims to celebrate the significance of jackfruit, promote local farmers and entrepreneurs, and create awareness about value-added products in the agri sector.
