Bantwal: Serial accident involving car, goods rickshaw and bike at Thumbe

A two-wheeler rider sustained injuries in a serial accident involving a car, a goods rickshaw, and a motorcycle at Thumbe on Saturday.

The injured has been identified as Mohammed Ansar, a resident of Maindala near Navoor.

According to sources, a car traveling from Mangaluru toward B C Road slowed down and applied brakes at Thumbe.

A goods rickshaw following closely behind crashed into the rear of the car. Subsequently, Ansar’s motorcycle, which was behind the rickshaw, collided with the commercial vehicle.

The injured rider was immediately rushed to a private hospital for treatment. The incident led to a temporary disruption of traffic on the busy stretch.
