Mumbai, Apr 2: Actor-businessman Raj Kundra has announced the release of his upcoming Punjabi film The Great Punjab Robbery, which is slated to hit theatres worldwide on August 7, 2026.

Kundra unveiled an intense motion poster on social media, giving audiences a glimpse into the film’s gritty and high-energy narrative. The visuals portray him in a fierce, rugged avatar, armed with a rifle and embodying themes of courage, rebellion, and destiny.

Describing the film, the makers highlighted its action-driven storyline, calling it more than just a robbery tale and promising a unique cinematic experience for audiences. Positioned as a large-scale Punjabi spectacle, the film features a strong ensemble cast including Payal Rajput, Garvita Sadhwani, Mahabir Bhullar, Paramveer Singh, Ankit Sagar, Amit Behl, and Kulvir Sony.

Raj Kundra began his acting journey with the 2025 film Mehar, where he starred alongside Geeta Basra and Savita Bhatti under the direction of Rakesh Mehta. The film told the story of a farmer seeking redemption and reconnecting with his family in rural Punjab.

He also appeared in the reality show The Traitors, hosted by Karan Johar. Inspired by the Dutch series De Verraders, the show revolves around a strategic game where contestants are divided into “Traitors” and “Innocents,” competing through deception and deduction to win.

With The Great Punjab Robbery, Kundra aims to deliver a high-octane cinematic experience, marking another step forward in his evolving career in entertainment.
