Mumbai, Mar 28: The WIAA Women’s Car Rally to Valley 2026 was flagged off from NSCI Mumbai on Saturday, bringing together the spirit of motorsport and social awareness in a vibrant atmosphere.

Organised by the Western India Automobile Association, the rally witnessed participation from over 200 women, with vehicles creatively decorated around themes such as women’s empowerment, cancer awareness and gender equality. The rally was flagged off by Nitin Dossa along with officials from JK Tyre & Industries.

Participants, dressed in themed attire, were cheered on by families and supporters, giving the event a festive and energetic start.

The rally follows the Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) format, focusing on precision, consistency and teamwork rather than speed. Covering a distance of around 125 km, the route leads participants from Mumbai to Khopoli, concluding at the Novotel Imagicaa hotel.

Officials highlighted that the rally is not just a motorsport event but also a platform to promote road safety and social causes. Over the years, it has evolved into a celebration of women’s resilience while amplifying awareness on safe driving and responsible mobility.

With strong participation and enthusiasm, the event continues to encourage women’s involvement in motorsport while advocating for meaningful social change.
