Youth killed as bike crashes into electric pole near Kumbra-Bellare road in Puttur

Puttur, Mar 4: A 33-year-old youth lost his life after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into an electric pole at Tyajya Nagara on the Kumbra-Bellare road on Tuesday night March 3. 

The deceased has been identified as Bhuvan (33), a resident near Kumbra School limits in Puttur. According to sources, the accident occurred when his bike reportedly rammed into an electric pole.

Bhuvan was employed at a bar in Nintikallu and had taken leave from work on Tuesday. It is learnt that he had gone towards Keyyuru and was returning home when the mishap took place.

He is survived by his mother and two sisters. A case has been registered at the Puttur Rural police station, and further investigation is underway.
