Karkala, Mar 2: A Hindi Mass for the migrants was celebrated on Sunday, March 1, at St Lawrence Basilica, Attur.
The gathering began with Catechism and choir practice conducted by Br Sachin. At the Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Fr Sushil. In his homily, he encouraged the faithful to remain strong in faith despite the struggles of migrant life and to use the holy season of Lent as a time of repentance, renewal, and closer union with Christ.
After the Mass, Fr Robin Santhumayer informed them about the upcoming Lenten Retreat for migrants scheduled on Sunday, March 29. He warmly invited all to participate and make the most of this opportunity for spiritual growth and reconciliation during the Lenten season.
The celebration strengthened unity and faith among the migrant community.
