Udupi: Konkan Railway hands over Bolero jeep to district police under CSR initiative

Udupi, Feb 21: Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has donated a Bolero jeep to the Udupi district police department under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The vehicle was formally handed over on February 20, at the office of the superintendent of police in Udupi.

Asha Shetty, regional railway manager, Karwar, handed over the vehicle to Superintendent of police Hariram Shankar, IPS, in the presence of member of parliament Kota Srinivas Poojary.

The initiative is expected to strengthen the mobility and operational efficiency of the district police force in maintaining law and order across Udupi district.
